The candles themselves are poured by hand—microbatched 100 at a time to assure maximum quality--and are made from 100% sustainable, slow-burning, vegan soy wax, a healthier alternative to paraffin candles. Also, while most paraffin candle wicks are made from cotton fiber, Wax & Wick candle wicks are made from sustainable U.S.-grown wood.
But it’s the candles’ scents that really set them apart. “The vast majority of scented candles are geared towards women,” said co-owner Garrett LeTorneau, “and they include lots of floral and fruit fragrances.
